6 BALLOONS dwells into the hollow facets of addiction yet keeping the rhythm symbolically beautiful

Still from 6 Balloons

The glimpses of our surrounding nature are tentatively the reflection of our life which is subtly beautifully and this are the moments we crave and cherish all way through. It stirs into our life an essence of glee and varied channels of emotions, but it’s our body which corresponds to who the changes that dwells into. Addiction is the syllable that grips our body firmly and never let’s go, it puts us into the dark abyss reality narrowing the channels of existence and harbouring over are the walls of dilapidated morality. Heroin, Marijuana, Oxycodone, are some of the lethal drugs which are somehow or the other gazing our eyes towards the distinctive threshold of death, closing the layers distinctively and awakening us to the edges of segregation from our body and our relationship. Its rushing into our veins, narrowing the lines of insanity and broadening the walls of inexistence.

It’s the life which is metaphorically is a boat, which measures our survival. The boast is sinking, the body is drowning, its dark, its hollow, it’s the reality which is perishing away the most gleeful moments we cherish all our life, evoking pain, anguish and eventually impeding the walls of humanity. Its hard to get out of that convulsive phase, which dwells onto the surface several layers of inner conflicts and moods, keeping us wide awake in the present and perishing away is the essence which that leaves us to road to nowhere. It’s the flavour of the of that addiction which grips, drags, chokes and evokes anxiety onto the surface, leaving the body to drown deep into the ocean of life.

Director Marja-Lewis Ryan, surfaces the dark reality, evoking lyrical symbolism to dwell into the skin of the story, showcasing the relations of the character, in a subtle yet mystical way. It’s dark, its gore, its raw, it’s a genuine presentation of the inner conflict of the characters colliding against the phase of time. 6 Balloon crafts itself beautifully keeping the tone compact and its approach towards the script true with metaphorical implementation of life which adds onto it a separate layer of visual entity.

6 Balloons grimly holds its chords, showcasing Seth (Dave Franco) dwelling into the hollow hemisphere of addiction, though it holds several emotional aspects that stays true to the character. Its forms the reality ahead gloomy, showcasing the weight he is carrying on his shoulders which ultimately torn apart the walls of his relations with his close ones. He is enormously guided by his sister Katie (Abbi Jacobson) who adds colour of hope and persistence to his life. She sacrificed her entire life to save her brother from the shadows of addictions but the layers of life that evokes the adrenaline rush that is irresistible, thus following the dilapidated morality yet again. The director has cleverly involved an surreal yet beautiful engaging element of relation that evokes the characters-Seth’s identity, its Ella, his niece, whom he pictures truly as his daughter, its the innocence of that child that drives him onto the path of self-discovery, but the boat is sinking, the body is drowning, they are deep down the ocean, its the life that evokes various questions.

Though the journey is surreally gloomy and follows character arc, through its running time, it fails to evolve the layer of uniformity persistently. The relation of the characters has paved way to a void space, where each of the characters aren’t expressed uniformly. The systematic narration was left unsaid by the director, thus closing the chapter way too prior without evolving various other questions, and their even moments, that follows the quest of the character towards the tale. Although its cinematic presentation added a sublime attribute, yet it was possessed unevenly scattering the elements into pieces at points. Surfacing around the dark abyss reality entitled by the director, it’s the poignant tale, which nurtures evoking the sense of hope by keeping the rhythm metaphorically symbolic, with its ten chapters of life which reflects our actions and which gives us the light to "Swim, get up on the boat, paddle and reach to the dock yet again", now with the emotions that paves way to joy and renders smile on our face.

6 Balloons mesmerizes with its raw poignant yet metaphorically beautiful cinema dwelling into it layers of hope and cohesiveness. It gives it viewers moments of dark reality of drug addicts but shows the subtle moments of love and care for the one you cherish for. Its independently covers you with the gloomy attribute, but truly leaves you to admire the story that is left behind. Dive in this 1 hr 15 min symbolic presentation of life, which will give you ray of hope and admiration for your life.

Five Feet Apart dwells on the emphasis of survival surfacing its rhythm aesthetically grounded in emotions

Still from Five Feet Apart The moments we dream, we look around we admire the colours that surface our belongings, its ecstatic, its gleeful, its us who make them beautiful. We make promises to never let go, the beautiful and the closest thing of our life but it’s the saying- “ Time overshadows the most valuable assets of your life, and as you wake up to reality it’s gone" . We dwell into the surface of underlying emotions only when they are gone, gone forever, essence leaves from its body, emptiness surrounds the space leaving it void eventually. We are no one to question death, we are mortal, who knows we are just one inch away from losing the body that carried dreams, life and morality to its existence. Its distinctively grim to carry on our death on our shoulders, waiting each day to end and let the body to leave to soul from the painful abyss reality where we ponder our hearts waking each day to hold out nerve and to solace our soul that “ Not Today ’, its harsh, it’s the...

Unfreedom Review: It questions the boundary of Human ideology with Freedom serving as the stand

Scene from Unfreedom Let’s talk about taboo that are very well persistent in our society that summons it up in a form of a filthy channel, they close their eyes, they fear to open it, as if it’s a dilapidated reality but its real we have to face it. That’s the only way to make the world get to its feet and cherish the color  that symbolizes the pattern of rainbow, and which further puts the ideology of love without the sense of boundary. I can fall in love with a boy, a girl can kiss a girl, they can hold hands and have their future on the stand, who the hell is the society, the people with sheer sense of atrocity against the purest form of human relationship – “ Love .” Love has no walls, no boundary, its there within us and will persist irrespective of the Gender that come as the priority, homosexual is not a disease, its who they are, and will be. Believe me the irony of the situation is pretty clear, we are free from the law that perish our self-nurtured reality, its Se...

Is Indian Cinema sabotaging the stand of Woman? Let’s see through the story of Lipstick Under My Burkha

Lipstick Under My Burkha With the advent of the term “ Feminism ”, the stakes of the women in our nation is somehow getting its due place up in the male dominated sphere. The major point in the discussion is the very longing fact that, the sexual urge and the visual pleasure is atrociously carried upon the name tag of Women as an object rather than giving them their self-credit, the space that is kept void for years under the sheet of obscenity. We are still on the same road with Bollywood trying to make a difference, the difference in bashing the voice of the so-called feminist ideologist. India is a democratic country with the freedom of speech and expression but the irony speaks itself aloud. Still we have the male gaze right above, suppressing the female flare. The country is divided harshly into the tone of disrespect, the anguish that persists till the Industry blindfolds itself towards the equality and the liberty. We are fearful or rather we are intentionally driving th...
